Job Title: Senior Functional Business Analyst - Core Banking & Digital Transformation
Reports to: Head of Process Implementations and Enhancements Department
Location: Tirana
Closing Date: October 25th, 2026

Role Objective:

The Senior Functional Business Analyst supports the Bank's strategic initiatives related to banking systems, digital transformation, online channels, system integrations, and the implementation of new technological solutions.

This role acts as the main functional point of contact between business units, IT, and external providers, analyzing business requirements, assessing the impact of changes to Oracle FlexCube and related systems, and preparing the functional documentation necessary for the successful implementation of solutions.

The candidate must have advanced knowledge of Oracle FlexCube from a functional analysis perspective and practical experience in projects related to Core Banking, Digital Banking and systems integrations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Analyzes business requirements and translates them into clear, complete, and testable functional requirements.
• Analyzes the impact of new requirements on Oracle FlexCube, banking processes, products, and related systems.
• Prepares Functional Requirements, Business Requirements, Use Cases, User Stories, Process Flows and Acceptance Criteria.
• Collaborates with business units to identify and clarify requirements.
• Coordinates functional analysis with IT and third-party system providers.\
• Analyzes requirements for integrations between Oracle FlexCube, digital platforms, and third-party systems.
• Performs impact analysis for new projects, functional changes, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Reviews and validates functional documentation prepared by vendors.
• Participates in projects related to Digital Banking, Payments, Cards, CRM, Loan Origination, and other banking systems.
• Prepares and coordinates functional and UAT test scenarios.
• Monitors and follows up on functional issues until they are resolved.
• Ensures traceability of requirements from initial requests to final implementation.
• Supports the implementation, migration, and adoption of new functionalities and solutions.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement, automation and digitalization of banking processes and services.

Formal criteria:

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Informatics, Information Systems or similar fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking sector.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Functional Analysis or Core Banking Analysis roles.
• Practical experience with Oracle FlexCube from the perspective of functional analysis and change implementation.
• Experience in functional requirements documentation and impact analysis.
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English.

Required skills/competences:

• Very good knowledge of Oracle FlexCube Core Banking System.
• In-depth knowledge of banking products and processes.
• Knowledge of payments, cards, digital banking and systems integrations.
• Knowledge of functional analysis and requirements documentation methodologies.
• Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze impact and evaluate complex requirements.
• Ability to document detailed functional requirements.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Strong critical thinking and solution-oriented mindset.
• Well-organized and able to follow up issues through to completion.
• Participation in digital transformation, automation or artificial intelligence (AI) projects would be an advantage.
