Job Title: Mortgage Credit Center Manager
Reports to: Head of Network Sales Division
Location: Tirana

Role Objective:

The Mortgage Center Manager contributes to the Bank’s profitability by managing lending activities, developing and maintaining customer relationships, achieving business targets, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, effectively managing risks, and supporting the implementation of the Bank’s strategic objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Represents ABI Bank in the community where the Mortgage Center operates and develops strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Conducts meetings with customers to promote the Bank’s products and services, identify business opportunities, and ensure the achievement of sales objectives.
  • Manages and monitors the achievement of sales targets related to mortgage lending volumes, profitability, portfolio quality, and overall business performance.
  • Reviews and proposes credit cases in accordance with the Bank’s credit procedures and delegated authority levels, ensuring proper assessment of customer creditworthiness, credibility, and integrity.
  • Ensures that customer credit files are properly prepared, complete, and compliant with the requirements defined in the Credit Manual and internal procedures.
  • Ensures that all approved credit conditions are fulfilled before loan disbursement and monitors the proper utilization of approved loans.
  • Follows up with existing loan customers through periodic visits and maintains updated information regarding their financial situation and loan performance.
  • Ensures timely collection and review of customer financial documentation required for monitoring and updating customer profiles.
  • Identifies potential problem loans at an early stage and coordinates with Head Office structures to implement appropriate risk mitigation measures.
  • Follows the process of non-performing loan management and cooperates with Risk, Legal Affairs, and other relevant departments regarding loans under legal procedures, executions, and recovery processes.
  • Maintains continuous communication with business organizations, development agencies, and public/private institutions to identify new business opportunities.
  • Monitors market developments, customer behavior, economic trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improving products, services, and business performance.
  • Develops and implements short-term sales plans for mortgage and retail banking products in line with the approved annual business plan.
  • Prepares and analyzes periodic performance reports, identifies deviations from approved plans, and proposes Ensures high-quality customer service by monitoring customer feedback, complaints, and satisfaction levels, and implementing improvement measures.
  • Ensures proper presentation and maintenance of the Mortgage Center premises, promotional materials, communication materials, and other marketing elements in cooperation with the Marketing Department.
  • Prepares and analyzes periodic performance reports, identifies deviations from approved plans, and proposes corrective actions when necessary.
  • Provides the necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits and ensures the implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Prepares proposals regarding budget planning, operational improvements, and organizational changes aimed at increasing efficiency and business performance.
  • Organizes, coordinates, and supervises the work of Mortgage Center employees, ensuring effective execution of responsibilities and achievement of objectives.
  • Monitors employee performance, supports professional development, and ensures efficient utilization of personnel, budget, equipment, and other resources.
  • Ensures compliance with Bank policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, internal controls, and risk management standards.
  • Performs other duties assigned by superiors in accordance with the Bank’s objectives and operational needs.

Formal criteria:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Banking, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in lending, mortgage financing, credit analysis, or branch management is required.
  • Experience in customer relationship management and sales-oriented banking activities is considered an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of banking regulations, credit procedures, and risk management principles.
  • Deep understanding of banking products, lending processes, and customer service standards.

  • Strong sales orientation and ability to develop business relationships.
  • Good knowledge of mortgage lending processes and credit risk assessment.

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional responsibility.
  • Good knowledge of English language, both written and oral.
  • Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and banking systems.
