Job Title: Research Analyst- Market Intelligence & Underwriting Support

Location: Tirana

ABI Bank’s Underwriting Department is expanding its market intelligence capacity. We are looking for a Research Analyst who combines fieldwork skills with analytical rigor to provide our credit teams with independent, current market data — particularly across Real Estate, Tourism, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Agriculture, Energy or other relevant sector and macroeconomic data.

What will you do?

• Conduct structured interviews with real estate agents, developers, hotel operators, and other industry participants to gather primary market data.
• Monitor and collect data from Albanian public sources (INSTAT, Bank of Albania, Ministry of Tourism, Customs)
• Aggregate raw data into sector scorecards, price indices, and sentiment indicators
• Prepare periodic market briefings and support active underwriting transactions with comparable data and independent projections.
• Build and maintain a structured network of market contacts across priority sectors.
  
  

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
• Basic experience in market research, real estate advisory, economic analysis, or financial services.
• Strong analytical writing in Albanian and English.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Genuine curiosity, strong interpersonal skills, and comfort conducting field interviews.
