Position: Senior Reporting Specialist

Reports to: Analytics Department Manager

Location: Tirana

Job Description:

Ensure accurate and reliable data collection, management and analysis, as well as the development of qualitative reports and analyses, in support of strategic and operational decision-making, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in data governance.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collects and consolidates data from various internal and external sources, ensuring their completeness and reliability.
• Contributes to the improvement, cleaning and standardization of data, in order to guarantee their consistency and integrity.
• Collaborates closely with the MIS team for data management, structuring and maintenance.
• Analyzes data to identify trends, behavior patterns, and deviations from established objectives.
• Designs, develops, and maintains periodic and ad hoc reports, in accordance with business requirements.
• Automates repetitive reports to increase efficiency and reduce manual processes.
• Ensures that reports are accurate, delivered on time, and in accordance with stakeholder requirements.
• Develops clear, structured, and interactive data visualizations, using tools such as Power BI and Excel.
• Collaborates with other departments to understand their reporting needs and tailor analyses to specific requirements.
• Supports cross-functional teams by providing ad hoc analyses and data.
  Verify and validate the accuracy of reports and data sources prior to distribution.

Formal criteria:

• University degree in the field of Economic Informatics, Economics or other similar fields;
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar banking/financial institution in the field of reporting and data analysis;
• Very good knowledge of data processing in Excel;
• Knowledge of financial and managerial reporting;
• Good knowledge of MS Office package;
• Familiarity with IFRS standards and basic risk concepts (e.g. provisions, NPL, etc.);
• Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank of Albania if it is the banking sector);
• Ability to identify trends or deviations from data;
• Understanding of basic statistics and data interpretation;
• Very good communication and collaboration skills;
• Very good knowledge of the English language.
