Position: Senior Accounting Specialist

Reports to: Accounting Department Manager

Location: Tirana

Job Description:

Correct accounting booking of expenses, fixed assets, supplier’s payments, provision funds, impairments, etc. Control of Trial Balance, sensitive and “Other assets & other liabilities” accounts. Correct substantiation of “Other assets & other liabilities” accounts.

Main Responsibilities:

• Booking of transactions (expenses, fixed assets, supplier’s payments, provision funds, impairments, loans’ write off, REPO, etc) in Core Banking System (CBS), ensuring compliance with Banks’ procedure in force and fiscal requirements.
• Daily reporting of cash recoveries from written off loans
• Daily control of Trial Balance, sensitive and “Other assets & other liabilities” accounts.
• Involvement in issues related to CBS for accounting, tests and controls.
• Monthly control and substantiation of transactions in “Other assets & other liabilities” accounts.
• Communication with Branches, regarding the transactions for supplier not maintaining accounts with the bank.
• Documents filing.
• Other duties assigned by the supervisor.
   

Formal criteria:

• Bachelor`s degree from University in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.
• At least 3 years in Accounting, Tax or Finance.
• Good knowledge of Accounting, Finance and Taxation Law.
• Good knowledge of Core Banking Systems.
• Good knowledge of Bank’s regulation and procedure.
• Good knowledge of English language.
• Ability to plan, organize and follow up daily tasks and ad- hock requirements.
• Good communication skills.
