Position: Senior Specialist of the Depository Sector                               

Reports to: Depository Sector Supervizor

Location:  Tirana

Job Description:

This role aims to ensure the registration, control, accurate storage of electronic/physical documentation of financial assets of funds in custody as well as the fulfillment of the role of the Depository in accordance with the bank's policies and the legal framework in force, guaranteeing integrity, confidentiality and operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

• Implementation and compliance with the Bank's internal operational procedures related to the sector's activity.
• Performing tasks in accordance with the legislative framework in force approved by the Financial Supervisory Authority, with the fund prospectuses and with the developed methodologies.
• Supervision of all Cash transactions of funds in custody.
• Registration in the Primera system for all transactions.
• Registration and verification of other assets in the Primera system.
• Registration in the Primera system of all clients of funds in custody as well as maintaining the accuracy of the client database.
• Revaluation of portfolios for funds in custody on a daily basis.
• Performing calculations regarding the repayment of quotas for pension fund clients.
• Control and follow-up of transfer orders sent by Fund management companies to the relevant units that carry out their execution.
• Reconciliation of daily fund data with management companies.
• In cases of irregularities or discrepancies, identifies and reports to the Companies regarding their resolution.
• Daily reporting to the Financial Supervisory Authority on the parameters of the Funds.
• Maintains and archives the physical documentation of the Sector.
• Guarantees the preservation of confidential client information.
• Maintaining effective and correct communication with other departments which enable the performance of daily work. 

Formal criteria:

• University Degree in Economics, Finance-Banking or similar fields;
• Over 3 years of experience in the Banking sector in similar positions;
• Good computer skills, including the use of basic Microsoft Office programs;
• Good English language skills.
