Job Description: Alternative Channel Operations Sector Supervisor performs the control and management activities of the unit, contributing to the successful development of operations related to Card Products and ATM/POS Services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the entire process of card and card acceptance terminal operations (ATM, POS & E-commerce), including existing and new products and services.
- Supports the daily project development and program implementation related to Cards, ATM, POS, e-commerce with other departments and third party organizations as appropriate.
- Ensuring proper functioning of all system procedures related to cards, especially the exchange files between the core banking system and the CMS (card management system).
- Contacts the card processor for processing dispute requests for transactions made with cards issued by the Bank in the network of other banks' POS and ATMs as well as dispute requests for transactions made with cards issued by other banks in the Bank's card transaction acceptance network.
- Supports Branches and customers on issues under his responsibility and resolves operational problems and customer complaints that cannot be resolved at the Branch level.
- Monitors the service level (SLA) of third parties for the smooth functioning of Card transactions.
- Follows the monthly Card renewal process.
- Authorizes monetary adjustments in accordance with the circumstances.
- Manages stock and new orders of circulating card material, as well as its delivery to branches and third-party processors, e.g. invoice letters, journal sheets, etc.
- Prepares reports on errors made in the branch related to Card activity.
- Controls the process of blocking, re-issuing and other modifications of debit and credit cards.
- Provides the required information to the Head Office and Branches regarding operational issues of card acceptance terminals and cards.
- Prepares activity/performance reports for the sector and subordinate staff
Formal criteria:
- University Degree in Finance, Banking, Economics or other similar fields.
- At least 5 years of experience with Card and ATM products.
- Very good analytical and communication skills.
- Very good English language skills.
- Very good collaboration and organizational skills
Knowledge of:
- International Card Payment Network Regulations (VISA & Master Card)
- Regulations related to Card Operations is an advantage
