We are seeking to recruit an experienced and very dynamic employee, in the position of Relationship Manager.
Job Description:
- Exploit business opportunities and develop close relationship with portfolio’s customers, in line with the Bank’s commercial and risk strategies / policies in force.
- Promote the products and services offered by the Bank, through direct and efficient communication with clients.
- Provide coverage of needs and structuring of related proposals, for enhancing relationship with portfolio’s clients.
- Contribute to the development and expansion of the Bank’s incomes from co-operation with portfolio’s clients, through diligent management of risk / return activities.
Approach/negotiation with new portfolio customers:
- Approach and develop prime relationship with the target clientele, falling under the business line’s scope of activity and mission.
- Identify new business opportunities with existing or new clients.
- Arrange and hold meetings with clients, for exchanging and understanding on their needs for banking products and services.
- Maintain systematic contacts and communications with clients, under pre-defined action plan and business objectives agreed with the direct supervisor, for developing and/or reviewing co-operation issues with clients.
- Provide periodical internal reports, notified to the direct supervisor and business line’s management, in connection to meetings with clients and related recommendations on business issues addressed for discussion.
- Collect periodical information on clients’ business and economic standing, as per credit policy or credit decisions in force.
- Propose tailored offers on banking products & services in favor of clients, in co-operation with other units of the Bank.
- Co-ordinate cross-selling opportunities with existing or new clients, in co-operation with other units of the Bank.
Evaluate our opportunity under an acceptable profitability and success rate, taking into account:
- Company performance (pre-assessment of financial standing and managerial behavior is performed at the initial phase),
- Expected account profitability (negotiate for volume of business and profit generating Bank transactions) and side benefits (cross sales to clients/suppliers, etc.),
- Reputation of the company and its shareholders in the market,
- Security offered, which has to comply with the Risk Policy in force.
- Provide the client with the preliminary financial offer (non-committed) and negotiate terms until finalization and receipt of the formal loan application from the client.
Credit portfolio management (existing and new files):
- Examine the credit application, prepare detailed financial analysis, provide information required about the creditworthiness of the customers, generate the proposal, suggest solutions and commercial strategy to follow on the case, etc. All actions should align to the Bank’s policies and strategies in force.
- Submits the completed credit proposal with all key elements required for approval by the respective Bank’s credit approval authorities and present the case during related internal meetings, if so requested.
- Upon generation of the decision, inform the client and related internal bodies on the approved terms and conditions.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with the client.
- Follow up and coordinate steps with other internal bodies of the Bank until finalization of the loan utilization (i.e. contracts signing process, registration of securities, utilization of funds, etc.).
General tasks:
- Handle customer’s complains, in line with the Bank’s procedure in force.
- Propose amendments to the existing terms and conditions of co-operation with the portfolio customers, based on business performance and overall customers’ profitability.
- React fast on customers’ needs and requirements offering a wide range of products and services in order to attract them in long-term relationships through a personalized service.

- Administers the credit examination procedure according to the internal rules and regulations of the Bank.
- Collects all the required business and legal papers and checks them according to credit principles.
- Maintains day-to-day communication with internal parties involved in credit process.
- Follow up overdue status and report respectively, by proposing course of action for the collection of due amounts.
- Follow up closely the business performance of non-performing clients and generate proposals for the rescheduling of the credit facilities, when appropriate.
- Creates a standard reporting line with respective supervisors for business issues arising from portfolio customers.
- Updates the customer’s files with new information/documents and reviews the credit limits according to the approval conditions.
Required technical skills:
- University degree in economic science, finance and banking, mathematics, etc.
- 2 to 5 years of banking experience;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English language
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (e.g. Excel, Word, etc)
